Find out why Gravetye Manor are Members
Gravetye Manor is a beautiful Elizabethan country house, surrounded by enchanting gardens and boasts 17 individually appointed bedrooms. The oak panelled, intimate restaurant sits at the heart of the manor.
In summer or winter, the sweeping countryside views, first class cuisine and attentive yet unobtrusive service will ensure an unforgettable experience for conferences, weddings and special events.
Gravetye had been bought in February 2010 and a refurbishment planned for January 2011, but many former clients believed the hotel had closed.
When Gravetye Manor joined the Gatwick Diamond Business Association it was for the express purpose of re-establishing themselves in the local business community.
Celine Jorgensen, Sales and Marketing Manager for Gravetye, attended her first networking meeting in May of 2010 and was able to announce to the attendees that Gravetye was definitely open for business. On the back of that announcement, two major local banks re-engaged and are now booking meeting rooms.
In September of 2010, we held a breakfast event at Gravetye and this resulted in more enquiries and real bookings.
Amy Gleadow, General Manager, said, “It was wonderful to be able to host this event and meet many of the local business owners. In between mouthfuls of smoked salmon and cream cheese bagels and homemade pastries we managed to forge some fantastic relationships and underline the diversity of what Gravetye has to offer.”
